First Appointment Letters

We have received the letters from HDB for both selling (in March) and buying (in April). Its really happening. Excited. Can't wait for the renovations.

Passed the Test

The HDB inspector came as arranged on Wednesday.  During the process of selling your flat, the HDB will send someone to do the valuation first and another to check the interior. They will check for illegal renovations done and the safety of the windows. At first we thought we didn't have the "stoppers" for the sliding windows but it turned out we did. The inspector even tried to lift up the kitchen sliding window but was not able to because there was a safety catch. We felt relieved because it would have cost us about $450 to have all the windows installed with a stopper.

Floored!

Our floor plan! So excited hehehe. There are some Executive Maisonettes at 149 sqft but ours is the smaller ones at 145 sqft but its still 2 storeys just like we wanted. With this visual we can at least get a proper quotation for renovation even before we get the keys. The lower floor study/bedroom is no longer there as the previous owner has taken the walls down which they currently use as a dining area that we will convert into a serious game room for Xboxing and Kinecting :D
